A 35 year old boxing club becomes a non-profit corporation to help more people
The Golden State Boxing Association, Inc., has changed management and has over 300 members and growing. This 35 year's old club that helps ex-boxers, their families and the community, will have their first official fundraiser under their new non-profit status on August 6th, at the Spaghetti Factory on Sunset Boulevard, in Hollywood at 11:30a.m.
The cost is $20 per person and it includes lunch (all inclusive), entertainment and the showing of a newly release documentary about the club after lunch. The public is invited, to become a member it costs $10 per year and we meet every Tuesday, no matter what, at the Spaghetti Factory for the last 27 years.
